I purchased this walker for my adult brother who suffered a brain injury. I selected this one because he's 6'3"and would have more support standing upright rather than leaning over with a traditional style walker. His hands are constricted so he's unable to use the hand brakes, but he can rest his forearm on the arm pad. Someone always walks next to him so it doesn't get ahead of him. Pearl provided amazing customer service. She responded quickly and sent out the part we needed to repair the arm pad (the walker is 4 years old now). We will buy from OasisSpace again if this walker ever wears out. His rehab hospital was impressed with the design and had never seen one like his.
